The infrastructure and renovation work at Xin Point Malaysia plant have entered their final stages, with the company currently accelerating the completion of IT infrastructure, office fit-outs, and telecommunications cable installations. The facility will focus on large-scale surface treatment projects for automotive interior and exterior trim, with products primarily supplying the North American and Southeast Asian markets.

The Malaysia plant has already attracted strong interest from customers in North America and Southeast Asia. As of the end of May, three painting projects and four electroplating projects have been confirmed, involving 93 parts. Based on the development timelines for these projects, the injection molding and painting production lines are expected to begin sample production in July, while the electroplating line is scheduled to start sample production in September, in preparation for mass production in 2027.

The steady progress of the Malaysia plant represents a key move in Xin Point’s strategy to optimize its global production footprint. Once operational, the facility will create synergies with the company's Mexico plant and its domestic production bases in China, further strengthening the "China + Mexico + Malaysia" multi-regional manufacturing system. This will effectively support the transfer of international customer orders, help clients navigate tariff barriers, reduce overall procurement costs, and enhance the Group's resilience and competitiveness in the face of global trade frictions.
